In IGD we are convinced that in order to be more competitive we must work to continuously improve the professional skills of our people.

IGD puts a constant attention to training and updating needs of the staff at all levels. Part of the training activities are organized internally, while for more specialized training needs, IGD fosters the participation of employees to external updating courses.

In 2015 the training offered involved primarily:

  • English language courses, for personnel working internationally;
  • refresher and advanced courses relating to the main regulatory changes and division specific activities;
  • update of the Organizational Management Model (MOG ex dlgs 231);
  • safety, with general training of new hires and specific training of existing and newly assigned managers in accordance with T.U. n. 81;
  • the project "Development of commercial skills" drawn on specific needs of headquarters' commercial roles, as well as managers and assistants of the shopping centers. The course, focused on the development of personal skills in stress management, leadership, problem solving and decision making, took place across multiple locations, with classroom moments followed by group coaching, involving about 50 people.
