Working at IGD
Our people
In recent years the IGD’s workforce has rapidly expanded keeping pace with the growth of the group, both in the region and in the headquarters-level functions. Instead 2010 was a year of substantive consolidation.
At 31 December 2010 the staff was comprised of 104 employees in Italy and 56 in Romania for a a total of 160 heads.
The breakdown by gender shows that there are more women than men, 93 versus 67 respectively.
The profile of the average employee indicates a relatively young staff of 38, along with a high level of education as more of 60% of the staff holds a university degree.
Personnel policies
Compensation policies seek to enhance expertise and reward each individual’s commitment. In 2010 we introduced a compensation policy that is based on a structured evaluation of the individual performances.
With regard to the commercial staff, we take account of flexibility and willingness to travel/relocate.
Our approach reflects our belief in the importance of a strong corporate culture: we favor, therefore, professional development through internal growth.
