  1. Where can I find a summary on IGD?

    The pages in the "About Us" section in the main menu of IGD’s web site, in particular the "Corporate overview" subsection, contains essential information so as to have an overview of IGD’s activities and performance.

  2. Where is IGD’s headquarters?

    The registered office is in Ravenna, in Via Agro Pontino, 13. The headquarters, with about sixty employees, is instead in Bologna, in the modern Business Park which is in the eastern suburbs of the city, in building D in Via Trattati Comunitari Europei 1957-2007 No. 13.

  3. What does the IGD acronym stand for?

    IGD stands for Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione, a name that implies the company’s vocation, which is to invest in real estate for use by large retail chains and for long term management.

  4. When was IGD founded?

    IGD’s origins can be found in the company ESP. It was founded in 2000 by the transfer from Coop Adriatica of part of its property portfolio, followed by the transfer of property from Unicoop Tirreno, which joined in the share capital in 2003.

  5. When was IGD listed on the Italian Stock Market?

    IGD’s listing took place in 2005, with the aim of benefitting from access to risk capital market that would enable it to support its development program.

  6. When did IGD become a SIIQ?

    IGD was the first Italian company to become a SIIQ – società di investimento immobiliare quotata, that is real estate investment trust - in 2008, in the months immediately following the launch of the law regulating this special tax regime in Italy.

  7. What is IGD’s mission?

    IGD's mission is to create value for all its stakeholders: shareholders and financers, employees, visitors and local communities, tenants and suppliers.
    The Company believes it is possible to create value by means of sustainable growth.

  8. What kind of activities does IGD carry out?

    IGD mainly carries out property management and rental activities. The Company is also engaged in a series of service activities, which include management contracts of third party shopping centers or marketing contracts for new spaces.

  9. Which countries does IGD work in?

    IGD is an Italian company, which has about 92%, in term of market value, of its real estate asset in Italy​​. Since 2008, following the purchase of WinMagazine, IGD has also controlled the largest shopping centers chain in Romania.

  10. What are IGD’s portfolio assets worth?

    Over € 2 billion: to be precise € 2.08 billion at 31 December 2015.

  11. How many properties are there in IGD’s portfolio?

    In Italy IGD owns 57 real estate units, including 21 malls/retail park, 25 hypermarkets / supermarkets and 1 city center; in Romania IGD's portfolio consists of 14 shopping centers and an office building.

  12. How many employees does IGD have?

    IGD’s workforce at 31.12.2015 consists of 166 people, of which 118 work in Italy.

  13. What is IGD’s dividend policy?

    Profits are distributed as dividends once a year to IGD’s shareholders. The Board of Directors, that will approve the annual results, will propose the amount of the dividend in accordance with the past year’s results, taken into account that, as a SIIQ, the Company is required by law to distribute at least 75% of the profits earned in the free management, which falls within SIIQ perimeter.

  14. How much is the last dividend paid?

    For the financial year 2015 the BoD propose the distribution of a dividend of € 0.04.

  15. When is the Annual General Meeting held?

    The Annual General Meeting will take place on 14 April 2016.

  16. Who are the main shareholders of the Company?

    Coop Allenaza 3.0controls 40.92% of the share capital; Unicoop Tirreno 12.03%. In IGD’s share capital is also present an international institutional investors with shares equal to 5.39%.
