The Organizational Model

In 2006, the Internal Control System was also implemented through the adoption of an Organizational Model which was approved by the Board of Directors on 12 May 2006.

The Organizational Model aims to ensure compliance with Legislative Decree 231/2001 which instituted corporate liability for legal offenses committed by top management or their subordinates.

The Compliance Committee

The Organizational Model also resulted in the formation of a Compliance Committee with independent powers of initiative and control, which oversees the functioning of and compliance with the Model and makes sure it is kept up-to-date.
