Growth paths

IGD favors internal growth; so privileges the training and updating activities, as well as rewarding deserving people.

Pay policies are oriented to develop the skills and to reward each individual with the right recognition fot their commitment. IGD has adopted an MBO (Management by Objectives) system at all levels of the organisation. 88% of the employess in 2010 received an evaluation on the basis of identified targets.

In Romania since 2010 is operating a Motivational System, based on the Group leader's MBO system.

Equal opportunities

IGD has always placed emphasis on equal opportunities.

Not only the workforce is predominantly female, but 33% of the total number of directors and managerial staff in the company in Italy is made up of women.

In 2008 IGD, together with the Trade Unions, signed a "Protocol for the development of positive actions in the field of equal opportunities, solidarity and reconciliation of work and private life". Every employess, therefore, can count on measures and means that can be activated when facing particular personal or family needs.

IGD is also utterly willing to agree to flexible start and finish times and to grant part-time.
